Maybe I should have stayed in my CLOV daytrade calls? My initial profit take point was when the $10 calls got to $1.15, which would have been close to the opening price for the shares. We'll see if it gets there. I'm not sure if pulling it when it dropped below my downside sell was too conservative or if that was the right call on that trade and then the current movement is a separate trade.

I had to buy the shares in my TD Ameritrade account because IBKR wouldn't allow the purchase. Might have to do with OTC shares although I've purchased other OTC share through IBKR in the past.

OK, just got in from breaking ice on cows water. I haven't done a butterfly yet, so talk to me like I am 5. You buy 1 360p, sell 2 370p and buy 1 380P for same expiration? I am doing it on IBKR if that matters.
Yes. You should be able to do that as one multi-leg option trade instead of several individual trades. That helps so you don't fill one part and then it runs against you while trying to fill the others.

The idea is if you sell it when the stock price is within the two bought calls you profit, especially as you get closer to the expiry.


Wish I could do this...can only sell cash covered puts
For now sticking to buying puts

Yeah it's in a tear. This morning I rolled 4/16 $10cc to a 4/16 $15cc for free.

I got in this earlier in the week.

Canadian company that mines gold/silver primarily. They purchased abandoned mines in Mexico. $250M in revenue and professional management.
