I don't know if it was a glitch or not, but huge buy came through right after the bell in apple.
the market sold off to close. no big deal yet.

I bought in at 67, it spiked hard right after and I sold $80 covered calls out to march for 13. The premium for those covered calls on days like today is huge, and I would take advantage of it.

Extremely narrow trading channels today. Doesn't show anything except it all occurred at the top of yesterdays candles, or in the case of SPX ABOVE the body of yesterdays candles. Oh and we are within sight of all time market highs. A true throw away day except for stocks that were ready to run.

I also sold March 40p for 10, thinking I'd let it decay or take 30 per share assignment.

For anyone curious, I did 3 different back to back orders of 10 contracts each to buy to close at market, and they executed at .05, .04 and .02 respectively. So it must totally depend on where it's routed and who they can find a buyer for. Thought that was interesting info.jwhitlock3 said:

I have SNDL puts expiring 2/19 that had a last sale of .02 and I wanted to go ahead and close out of them but limits can only be set in increments of .05.
