Then sit on the sidelines until it isn't that way to you. I told all the big gainers just yesterday, who were newer traders and up a bunch, that selling out and sitting on the sidelines is not a bad move up here. At the very least to trim get covered calls in place and enter the Put hedges.
I've cashed in a 2nd time on some of the SPY 335 March Puts and sold the late $383 expiring hedge put from after hours yesterday.
Right now the markets have found balance and are looking for direction NOT SURPRISINGLY right smack in the middle of the last big high that ran to retest the days lows. Now its sink or swim.
Until these events occur and I see everyone posting how green they are we have a long way to go.
