Any one in KOSS? It was mentioned as a reddit play, so I threw a tiny amount of $ at it yesterday and sold at a small loss. Up 217% today.

If I ran a hedge fund that avoided naked short selling and did things more organically, wouldn't I want the funds that I compete with get what they deserve? Wouldn't investors be irate and flock to my investment strategy?

Sure, the market might take a dive, but retail will eventually reinvest those dollars they gained into (un)shorted companies.

I would also sue the platforms and the SEC for giving these funds unfair advantage, if there's such a thing.

Who would have thought my "job" for today would consist of:

1) TRYING to keep up with this thread

2) TRYING to keep up with /r/wallstreetbets/

3) TRYING to keep up with Twitter

All while watching the meltdown on CNBC (brightened up with an awesome interview with Chamath)

Taking the time to post this means I'm WAY behind all of the above now...but it's a fantastic day!

I got the same. TDA has limited initiating new trades on several of these stocks. I know that includes $GME, $AMC, $BB and $EXPR. I don't know which others are included in their restrictions.

Yep. Transferring everything to IBKR after this settles out. TD is owned by Swabb, FWIW.

AMC is literally free now.

You can buy 100 AMC and then sell a $9 covered call and get a $10 premium. I just did it.

Edit to add date - these are Feb 19 Calls.

I'm pissed. I could probably call in and get them to do it but this is stupid, I have the damn shares in a non-marginable account. This is how it is SUPPOSED to work.
