Playing WWR long term in my retirement account and bought a position in my taxable account.

Sold share today to capture gains in that account when it hit $8.20.

That said - any advice on how to "set aside"
cash for taxes?

Keep buying more stocks and sell some when the tax man calls because stocks only go up? Set aside what ya think you'll need in taxes in a separate account

Feels like you'd wanna keep making money and deal with it when the bill shows up. But wiser men than me are here so open to ideas.

So from what I can gather, there is this huge fight between WSB and the hedge funds on keeping the price lower. They have a shytload of calls that are in the money at the moment that are expiring on Friday. So they will either have to buy to cover and push the price up if they close the position or work to find shares to source to all the now ITM calls on $GME.

This is a black swan in the world of hedge fund management. A message board targeting your holding.

So can the big shorts hold out long enough to recover some losses? What risk management group liquidates in this case? Is the fund it's own broker? Or can they be forced to liquidate? Can the losses exceed their ability to pay? What happens then?

I understand if an individual exceeds their margin loan on a short they get liquidated by the broker, but who liquidates a hedge fund? And are their pockets deep enough to ride this short squeeze through to the other side?
