Same question.... Maybe the best answer is sell cc on half? I don't know. More experienced traders here may know
I sold some $5 Feb Calls for .60 when MBIO was about $4.80 - breakeven at $5.60, so about 80 cents a share or 15% gain in a month isnt bad if they get called out. I just did partial though, I have more calls at $7.50. The $5 calls were a small hedge in case it drops back down again.

Yup, you can theoretically end up with free shares if you gain credits passed your initial investment.

That's part of OAs "better than a CD" plan. I believe.


So that's basically where your cost basis is negative and you're just continuing to sell premium all without necessarily gaining shares?

Yeah in theory if you bought 100 shares of any stable priced stock, you could sell covered calls in perpetuity. You could eventually overcome your initial investment with premium pocketed, and beat any current CD rate by a mile.

Was anyone able to place an order on EGOC? If so, what did you use. We called Fidelity and they said it was too risky even after being approved for penny stocks.

Its closed below the 8 $ 21 EMA so as I see could still slide another buck huh?

Edit: The volume on 1/12 though wow. Would love to catch the burst up.
