With all the big cigars we have in WWR, we need to do some manipulating ourselves

Seems like we could all just place a bunch of small lot 4.99 sell orders on our shares as fast as they'll fill in the last 5 minutes, but i think if someone's got an algo doing the same with buy orders at 5.01 they'll win. Also seems like a good way to get asked some uncomfortable questions

So I think I messed on covered calls. Help me understand this example:

  • Purchased 1,000 shares of MBIO for $3 per share = $3,000
  • Sold 1 2/19 $7.50 call @ $.20

What are the different scenarios here and how will the math work out?

Own 1000 shares, sold covered call on 100 shares. If on 2/19 the stock is below $7.50, you reduced your purchase price by $20.

Looks like someone bought 16k 60C 2/19 earlier this week. Some volume on the 1/22s today also.

Looking at the chart, looks like a possibly a bull flag on the daily with a play for a move back to the top of the flag next week?

Just my pee brain assessment looking at today's chart.(now that I know what happened)

It looks like volume (from somewhere) was used to drive the price down every time the stock tried to break out.

Is that even close to what happened?

FUBO will be fine. They've reaffirmed their earnings but the shorts won't go away and will push it lower, especially on down days.

True.....Darvas Box has been set and extended. I'm holding my Feb 12 $8 but taking more shares on these lower end box range moves.

Anyone else in ISR? I've had a couple thousand shares of this just sitting for about 5 years, then all of a sudden it's hot but schizophrenic. I don't see any news on em.

That depends on where the stock price is. If its substantially below 7.50, I wouldn't as you would capture max gain.

At $7, you have to look at the technical indicators to determine potential movement.
