I'm at max pain right now but it's my bed and I'm sleeping in it. A gap up would be heavenly though

If it makes you feel better, I have a $4500 call for 1/15 that will go worthless. Bought it at about $64 in August or September (I don't even want to look at it to find out) and then AMZN decided it wanted to take a nap.

yeah I still like CRYX long term....my short term thesis was a pop with vaccine distribution....obviously that didn't play out but there are still long term trends I like with trends in gene therapies and genomic testing/sequencing over the next decade. If you zoom the chart out to the weekly/monthly, its still flagging and I can't ignore the volume. May take 12-18 months to fully play out, but I'm still in.

I also don't know what to do with the CRISPR stocks....CRSP, BEAM, EDIT. I have all three and their recent move is crazy. All these companies are very very early biotechs...with very little data. Most of their pipelines are either Phase 1 or not even in the clinic. Could be a rough road ahead for all three as data reads out in the coming years. I cut down my positions in CRSP when it touched 200 and BEAM at 100....still holding some for the longterm but those positions are now net free and then some. I don't think it would be bad to just cut BEAM -- very likely shares will be cheaper than current price at some point.

That is one of the biggest lessons I learned early -- don't overextend yourself with too many positions. The most trouble I've gotten myself in / done damage to my account is trying to play too many positions at once and not being able to manage. The FOMO of missing a trade is very real....but I would stick to no more than 5-7 swing trade positions.

EVs, solar, and alt energy in general. The only oil company that will benefit is Dominion Energy but that will be rescinded once they realize the subsidy isn't being used for voting machines.

So, it seriously seems to me that we should start a micro-publishing business around here. Reprint hard to find books (investment or other timeless topics) that are out of print that fetch a high price. Maybe wrap them up in new leather-bound editions, signed by authors, for an extra fee.
