With the large drop in mgni the past week are you guys planning on buying back in at some point?
Been listening to Dan Shapiro's modules and 'courses' at night and periodically putting a stock on the one chart I partially set up with his studies.

So then stocks I want to keep I should still go ahead and go after good premium when selling cc's and then just roll them as they become ITM? Currently I have been selling cc's way otm for not a lot of premium, but if I am going to roll them and there isn't much downside, I should go after max premium so that if the stock does fall, I get all that premium. To me that's the biggest downside. You set up the CC to be okay with that return + premium if you get called out. If you roll it out several months from now and the stock drops you're going to be left with just the premium and not able to cash in on the stock at it's peak. For highly volatile stocks I usually choose to let it go, for stocks that you want to keep over several months as swings I'll typically roll a percentage of them, and for long term accumulation stocks I'll try to roll all/most of them or buy them back outright.

Yea, I've appreciated his insight and learning especially how price moves when encountering supply levels. Has definitely helped me be less emotional when a stock moves the opposite of the way I want.

Its been really good but a lot to absorb on top of everything else. Some great points to remember like the one you mentioned regarding supply levels.AgEE10 said:

Combine all that OA has taught us with some of Dan's points and if you stick to the technical aspects this could be a less stressful at times.

$XL gurus I have a question. You can sell Feb $20 puts for about $3.50. Am I missing something here or is that not free money? Its holding above the 21 for a week now.
