If it pivots off 50 I will likely roll them out to Feb.
I always get the new ones first. I like adding ITM calls to juice a play. If I truly think the move will come later, I might sell puts now and then wait on buying the calls until the premiums come down even more with decay. Of course that gives you the risk that you miss your stock move like I did with AMZN recently. Just a comment for the board. WTI Oil hit $50 today. A lot of energy stocks have had a great run since early November and a lot of talking heads are bullish for $60+ oil this year.
As someone that works in the industry, I am still likely to stay away from playing many energy stocks. Commodity prices and OPEC/Middle East fights have too much of an impact on the industry for me to play stocks.
Just some thoughts.

Even if Tesla grows into the worlds largest auto maker and battery maker and solar panel maker combined, still overvalued. May not be a big deal to the cult stock owners.

Looks like the dems are getting the senate too. Pot stocks, EV's and alt energy for everyone. Good news is tech should jump on that news.
Certainly not an ideal outcome but hopefully the Dems overplay things for 2 years and the people fight back to get the House red

Market sure didn't care about Biden winning, don't think this will move the needle much either. Am glad that I have some pot and China stock's now
