I'm selling calls on it up here. Lower your cost basis and hope it rocks. If you want to take profits you might want to consider keeping a portion. That way you aren't totally kicking yourself if it's at $10 in January.

Man I really have no idea but that volume the past weeks following a 6 month consolidation channel means something. I will crawl under my desk if this thing rockets like MGNI or MARA because they release some news only 'insiders' know about I miss out after accumulating along the way.

That being said I should lower my costs basis towards net free on them. May wait to see if it runs a little more today towards the close and if the premium rises for the Jan calls and do it for half of shares max.

I trimmed about 20% of my way to many shares today. learned my lesson a few weeks ago when I thought it would bust through $4 and it ended up falling all the way back below $3.

I'm now looking to sell calls against a portion of my shares but gonna see what we do now that we are here at $4.

This. Sell near date range covered calls to keep lowering my costs basis. I may have gotten a little greedy today not selling some calls waiting for a 2nd surge to back above $4.20ish where I could capture the best premium. If it pops even a little more I think the premiums will rise enough for me to get off my chair and make a decision which date, strike, etc. Personally I will take a little less premium for a higher near date strike....just in case.

Heads up. I think prompt /BTC futures expire tomorrow due to Christmas, so don't forget to roll if you want to remain long. Rolled all my contacts today.

I posted about this quickly and am in the Jan 40c at a cost basis of $0.33 before running out the door earlier today. It made it $0.43 intraday then closed with a B/A .of .32/34. Reconfirmed the 8 & 21 today after consolidating here after a run up. Would like to see an attempt at that $36.44 level again then obviously break through.

Apologies for not showing with the ATR bands. Haven't figured out and had time on IBKR to add those studies yet. However it did cross and close above the ATR center line today.

Didn't go heavy but enough to pay for Christmas presents anyway.



Edit: If you look back on the 12 Month is has formed the cup and now the handle.

sorry, slow on the reply... he bought more at .40 and .41 today and I'm pretty sure him and Ripster are still long it (along with several other big atlas guys). Rip said he thinks it moons by early January. (and I have a few shares left, but all net free).

I sold $5 calls on 20% of my shares and $7.50 calls on another 20%. January on both. If I get called out I'll keep 60% damn near net free.

I did 5C on half, sitting on the others. Don't care if I get called out.

GHIV is the next one Rip and Zack, etc. are in on. (SPAC)

I now have $7.5 on about 40% of mine, a few $10 and the $12.50 on about 20%. Premiums were too good not to keep selling, but if I get called out I'm good okay with that. I also sold quite a bit of $2.5 puts awhile back and then used that premium to buy more shares.

Haven't tried that. Seems like other than a few early times swing trading the stock and maybe an option play or two I've been bitten by it. Lately anyway. I'm sure I'll cave and try again at some point. But for now it's a 4 letter word in our home.
