McInnis - I did a buy write to close on APPS, we're within $0.5 of max profit and I would rather have the profit hit taxes this year.

Accumulating in the .70. Sell 50% at ~$1.40 and watch it go to the moon.
I missed the last spike to $1.44 to go net free before 7am due to TDA/TOS not providing the ability to trade the 4AM-7AM hours. After that I now have a IBKR account that provides that ability for those that may end up in the same boat. Just a thought.CrazyRichAggie said:Cadet05 said:

I thought a Roth can only be funded to the level of earned income of a child in a given year?BREwmaster said:
kid's roth IRA vs brokerage...
let's say for the purposes of saving for a first car (so before college). I think the kid's roth you can only withdraw at college age and for tuition/ college expenses (and would still be taxed on earnings).
brokerage, I could swing trade in it and grow it to a gently used truck in 13 years (when he hits 16).
thoughts? sorry for the random question.
$1 for Christmas and I'll be making a very large donation to OACrazyRichAggie said:
$1 for Christmas would be nice.
I sold 2/19 .50P on it this morning for .20, cost basis of .30 /share I can do $1 covered calls on, or take the premium and run. This feels like a good contender for an acquisition and they debt payoff is a perk.McInnis 03 said:
SNDL is sitting on .48 in case anyone is looking at that............while we're on the pennies today.
