The UK govt is indeed a total mess at the moment with Brexit and how they have handled Covid in general. Been a rough 5 years for them... they have become an absolute global joke.
My point still stands, I went through my normal podcast news in the morning which hits all the major outlets, then was in the gym with TV's up front, all reporting the same crap.
I still have yet to look into it myself, but with 3 different sources I could immediately draw a conclusion that it is fear porn.

Yea agree on your point about the media. It is sickening and a vicious cycle that puts governments under even more pressure to do something from all the zombies who believe it all. I'm pretty sure we agree... my point was that it is BS that the media has twisted what they actually said.

My MGNI target when this whole thing began was $25. Sold Jan $25 calls to either defer taxes to 2021 on 50% of all holdings or Pick up $2.50 in premium come expiration and then decide what to do with those shares.

boy FUBO calls would've paid. damn, saw it trading around the bottom of a channel early last week. Said to myself, I could buy 1 out to January, let it ride. Nope, didn't do it. I would've bought around $27, now trading at over $46! correction, now 48$, Jeeeeeeebus what a run. I'm long a ton of shares in the IRA at least.

EDITED! You sell the $5 CALL for $0.80 not the dang Put
So if you average down here and then sell the $5 CALL on only the shares you average down with you either reduce you're holdings down $0.50/share (assuming you average down buying same number of shares) or if WWR is back above $5 you likely get the $5 shares bough down here called out and pocket the $1 premium PLUS the difference in share price bought here and $5.
And there is no such thing as "sadly" on a mass accumulation stock. There is "patience".
