Feels like forever

I have 1 contract left of the PLTR long distance play. its up so big. Should I sell it?

If the Dec 18 $25 calls make a retreat back to $1.55 I'm entering

ATVI first consolidation. Look healthy so far as long as markets don't tank.

Looks like it's breaking resistance now.

Forgot to mention these were $15 strike. Does that change your thoughts?

in my short time doing calls, I have learned the hard way to take advantage of the moment you feel really good about your return and move on. I've had 2 separate calls surpass 100% returns, only to turn red within a few weeks of it after I held too long. I had a another go to 78% and I got cold feet and sold it at 33% after it fell some.

PLTR seems pretty strong .

I mean, r/wallstreetbets has this stock determined to go to $60 by the end of the year. The $500 they are investing on that stock isn't much by one, but multiply it be several thousand kids and they have some buying power that I am sure will buy any dips. Even Cramer was ranting about them yesterday that just fueled them even more.

ATVI lost steam. Might exit this trade

ENG question here...this is what I have...
100 shares at $2
100 shares at $2.25
sold $2.50 CC for 0.70
sold $5 CC for 0.85

Right now I can buy the $2.50 back for 0.40 and the $5 for 0.20.

While I don't plan on this being a really long term play and could see this going back down to $1 I'm thinking of doing this anyways and get my net cost lower. From there I go 1 of 2 ways:
1) Watch and see if it comes back a little. I expect once we get more vaccine being out news likely in mid December you're going to see Oil & Gas stocks pop up again. And then sell covered calls around that time
2) go ahead and sell CC's in January and get some cash in. Risky though b/c if it does pop a little then I'll have left profits on the table

This is exactly why I'm holding onto my ~20 net free calls until closer to expiration in Dec/Jan. There's no basis for pushing the price that high right now, but if funds continue to pick it up and/or they make an announcement about going big with a contact tracing app, the ride can continue, especially if smaller retail (me) continues to pile in/fomo.
