I would say you did. I loaded up on $13,000 in SQQQ and SPXS yesterday around noon. So far so good. This could bring SPX back to the 3250 range if the pattern continues.

Tons of support in the 3380 range. I'll look for it to fall there first unless we see a reversal with jobs report or announcing a winner (finally).

Have a stop loss in just above the line shown as I'd switch to the triple bulls.

Yesterday would have been the better day but anyone picking up VIX calls today? I picked up 1/21 SPXS calls yesterday to hedge a little.

I thought about doing that yesterday, but I'm already fully hedged with SPSX and didn't pull the trigger on VIX calls as a trade. Regret!

Futures moved from -37+ to -4. Too early to know what's the read. You can't tell me that should the Dems end up with all 3 branches we will not see a 2500 point DOW drop. Big money has time before that would be in place but someone huge will start the move between now and Jan 20 if it looks likely.

This early push could be surprised big $ seeing that even Senate seats are targeted and likely flipped if nothing happens on the legal front. Easy to move futures premarket with less volume so they can adjust with options and selling in higher volume.

Maybe there is something to chatter on a surprise coming to favor a Republicans. You try to keep focus longer term but these events are going to dictate longer term so must be weighed.

Add to SPXS hedge because can anyone not see rocky times into Jan 20?

Yeah a sold out bunch of a-holes. ALL the mainstream media is dead to me, including Fox. They are all anti Trump. This is one of the most corrupt fraudulent election the history of the U.S. and they're just ignoring facts and videos made in plain sight.

time to SECEDE! apologies for the political rant, stock related b/c watch the Chinese Yuan. Sells off big when it looks favorable for Trump, rockets this morning when Biden magically took the lead in a deep red state (GA).

What I"m seeing is a House that might just be a 1 seat D advantage, and the GA senate won't be decided until Jan 5 runoff.

At least those SPXS $6 calls are good to Jan 15.

The amount of dollars about to pour into GA is going to be ludacris (yeah I went there).

I planned to add more to the 1/21 SPXS 6c calls and had thought up to about .60. Do you recommend targeting the .50 and below still on that one or slightly higher strike ok?

DONE! I only found this thread a couple months ago. What I've learned just by reading thru it (almost all of it) and then taking more time to research has been incredible. Then add to it being able to post and getting insight from you guys has taken it over the top!

Thanks all of you and oa1 in particular! You'll see from my posts I'm more of a long investor but slowly working my way towards trading like you all (maybe not same $$$$ amounts......yet!)

I have some of the 5 and 6 calls. I'm still pretty new to options, but it doesn't quite make sense to me why the options haven't reflected the move up in the underlying. Does this have to do with low volume on the options trades?

Check the greeks. If there has been significant decay, or a low level of correlation with the stock movement, you can see that.

A little help here... I have some ENPH call butterflies for 11/20 with 110-125-140 strikes. If I were concerned that ENPH would blow past this what are the options to break this up, profit from the lower end now that its $122, and then hope to profit from continued move up close to or past 140 by 11/20?

This is mostly theoretical, since I'm likely to either hold or sell these whole, but I'm a little unsure as to what I could do and why that makes sense if I believed the price will continue rising past my profit window.
