I am thinking of selling puts on AMC theaters with the goal of using the premium to build a net free long position. This is a bet that AMC survives the COVID crisis, but I bet it will spike on any type of vaccine news.

Because that is what ROKU always does. Wouldn't doubt if it sells down 5-10% tomorrow.

ROKU is notorious for ****ing calls on ER.

OH I know lol. I have been in since their first earnings of the year and watched it fall like a rock then the pandemic hit. It felt like it would end around 250 after hours but I can't have nice things.

What are you thinking on these? 11/27 $2P going for .18 right now, thinking of selling a few of those? Edit: Dec 18 $2P going for .38, that seems like a better deal.

I looked at Jan 2023 calls, but they're selling for $1.30 and that seemed pricey for a $2.50 stock.

Read the release and looks legit. Also no debt and solid cash position. Growth was solid and also subscriptions. Expanding to Europe.

Yep. I suspect it will have a rise regardless of where it levels off. I'm loaded on the 11/20 6c so will sell a few into strength and run the rest to take the shares depending on how it trends.

I added more ROKU at 230 and added SQ at 189. SQ may not have been a good add point but that was a beast of a quarter, this will keep going higher.

TTD may be my biggest regret, got knocked out and never got back in.

Being my largest share position I will most definitely be selling 15% and selling $12.50 or $15 covered calls depending on premium available before earnings.

Not saying I am selling at $11 because if markets are even a little green I would hope the TTD news gives MGNI a decent early pop to slowly trade into.

I'll reluctantly play for the betterment of the group
  • # of shares held : 1000
  • Average entry price : $6.59
  • In a tax deferred or capital gains account : tax deferred
  • What % of portfolio in dollars represented : currently sits at 11% (used to be alot smaller)
  • Small Medium Large Investor : I'd probably say small to medium
