I bought 10K shares of MBIO at $3.05. Not loving the action but I also sold 100 covered calls for November at $5. Just going to wait and see what happens.

If we have an overreaction and it sells off steep on the open, I may be looking to buy shares when it bottoms (maybe that is Monday, Tuesday not sure) then confirms a reversal. Potentially sell covered calls once the dust settles and the premium rises. May even trade it a bit.
Learned from OA a few months ago that sometimes there are great opportunities in overreactions. Maybe this is one of those times.

I've got a short put spread on AAPL next week, just couldn't pass up the premium, half the width of the spread. Hopefully they beat expectations.

Spent the entire day from about 8am until just now (6:00EST) in chart 'university' and scan set ups. Not sure I have all my setting as I want them on the scan set ups but set a few parameters to flag things on TOS.
Check out VOXX A lot of recent activity I need to dive into more but could be an opportunity. Don't know anything about the company yet but has had a steady climb the past 6 months or so and a spike the past 10 days.

Covid routine?
Our church is still limited seating, 'reservations' and one service so we have been watching services online from several pastors. So I'll do that before I get cranking on things.Prognightmare said:

However I'm 99% sure I had it in late February. Was flying back and forth to LA every week and came down with something my doctor had no idea what it was after testing me for everything. Flu like symptoms, body aches, light fever, etc. Prescribed 10 days of antibiotics and got better but still hung around for about 2 more weeks lightly. I'm 52 and felt bad but no different really than having the flu or a good cold. Never stopped traveling though back and forth and didn't miss a beat.

I never stopped until mid June back and forth to LA every week. I was literally the only passenger on planes at times other than crew dead heading. Multiple times TSA would tell me no one had been through in the last 30 minutes or an hour at multiple airports. Was pretty sad to see what this has done to so many peoples lives. If you haven't been to airports there are rows and rows of planes parked and being stored across the country that will be years before they fly again.$30,000 Millionaire said:

Flew out of Love Field and Sacramento Airports for a trip to Tahoe last month. More TSA agents (20-25) than passengers (5-10) going through security at Love Field. Watched them pull over a 70-80 year old Indian grandmother that spoke zero English to a private room to "check" her with her daughter and granddaughter in the same room to translate. Both flights were Saturday early afternoon (1pm).
Also had a bait and switch happen at the rental car company to try and cancel my reservation for a weekly deal at $280 for an SUV to move to a "competitor" with last car for $900. Blamed it on the fires. We walked outside and noticed 25 SUVs sitting there and marched back in and got our original rate. They hoodwinked several customers and we reported them.
Such an embarrassing waste of money and energy. The airlines and airport stores themselves were fantastic and feel very sorry for them. Everybody else, not so much.

I went through IAH in early Oct and the TSA line was non existent but surprisingly all the stores had a long line for breakfast (was Monday AM). On the flip side coming back through DTW, TSA was surprisingly crowded but then there was nobody at any of the stores (Friday afternoon).
That was the first I had flown since Feb and while I only traveled once every 6-8 weeks before the pandemic, I do miss it some just to get out of the house and break up the monotony

Had a guy last night named Samuel Leach via Twitter (don't know him) message me on investing in crypto. Mentioned bitcoin at 13k and where its projected to go. Basically wanting to handle a managed account specializing in crypto. Pitch was lower risk than stocks, does daily trades, little start up capital, etc. Anyone mentioning 50k simple earning in 5-6 days with low investment capital ...well....that's your sign.McInnis 03 said:

Yah and I'm sure it's why MARA jumped on Wed/Thurs. In my opinion, applying any charting/technical analysis to MARA doesn't make much when it's really just going to track BTC. Am I wrong there?
IMO you can apply technical analysis to MARA for entry and exits however I wouldn't disconnected from tracking BTC over any meaningful period of time.wanderer said:

Flew roundtrip to Vegas on Tuesday - both flights were full, airport was crowded.
Ok, I think we have some volatility but probably mostly move up this week. I like:
- AAPL
- NKE
- pot stocks
- video game stocks
- WMT
- OSTK could make its break this week
- SPX over NDX
- CWH to find a bottom
I am going to try to short SNAP towards the mean. Watch for volume starting to slow.
