I'm wondering shakeout before stimulus gets announced. Bull investors let it flush a little to make it easier for momentum.

Daily SNAP and BYND charts look almost identical. Big round bottoms. If the market moves higher, could see big moves on both.

I think we're in very strange and unique times... VIX is suppressed (it was green at open or just before), DXY being suppressed downward, oil is down (DUG, oil short is up, which usually means correction or pullback time).

Generally markets follow all or 2 out of the 3. The sell side on what looked like a green day yesterday seemed strange too.

3 Titans players and 5 staff, positive for coronavirus... doubt that is what is causing this, but it may be used as the excuse for now

Newbie here. Does anyone else think there is some value in buying some oil and gas stocks (XOM, VLO, CVX) and holding long term? Just seems like a good deal at the moment...

Oh I'm patient. In below 6 and feel good just letting it ride for a long time.

I just don't see it happening like that. Many factors in my stance but biggest is that we live in a vastly different world ~100 years later.

As always, I could be wrong.

I think your best bet is to buy a little of all 3. Stick to the big boys. Sure, a few of the small names will make it through and explode up on the backside, but it's too risky.

So, uh, GLD, they are sweeping the hell outta GLD in December.

Good advice here but do prepare yourself to have those oil stocks (if you are simple swing trader or long investor) just sit there for a while not doing much. They may perhaps get a small bump soon as a stimulus is announced.

PTON - Didn't see this rise coming today or even give me a chance to confirm until it was too late. Was all locked and loaded for an entry in the low 93-94 range but nope.
