I don't think that a stimulus is even a consideration. It's probably the low rates, housing and refinancing that is BOOMING right now.

1) Typically I pick the stocks/charts I like, then go through and will look at what the options are like and try and find the dates/strikes with highest open interest and let that guide me. Stocks that are really liquid (AAPL, etc) you can kinda just pick your own date and price and roll with it. Less traded names I like to see where the open positions already are and follow those as it'll help out with bid/ask spreads on options as well, and will be more liquid if you need to get out for whatever reason. I use the CheddarFlow 'historical flow' tool to see what activity was been like in the past week/couple weeks to help me pick.

2) For RKT, I have an anchored VWAP set for its first candle on August 6th. Right now that VWAP is at ~24.5, so I'm expecting at least a re-test of that level. The candle from Sept 09 tested that VWAP and failed, showing me its an important level. Whether it gets past that in this current environment, who knows.

My reasoning doesn't involve a stimulus. Its a recent IPO retesting a big even number (20) that is critical on its chart (see Aug 18 candle) and data was just released showing new home sales rose 5% in August to their highest level in 14 years. Earnings for RKT will be in early December, so expecting a nice run from this level until then.
