Yes, LEAPS

Keep risk to that easy managed amount and if it explodes those $1.25 calls will be at $5-7 lickity split.

Gents,
I use Fidelity and have some purchased some call options with 1 or 2 year expirations. I see you guys talking about LEAPs. Is a 1 or 2 year call option considered a LEAP or is a LEAP something different all together? I cant find any mention of LEAPs on my order ticket so I assume these are one in the same....please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have no idea what's up with the URL, but yes, LEAPS are long term options (1 year, 2 year out.)

Yes. Leaps are just options with far out expirations. It's just a term amongst people. You won't see it on an order

Here are some more shorthand and terms you'll likely see amongst traders. Some are specific to this guys followers, but several are common terms

I only do LEAPS on betas and it is usually following a $1MM+ option flow. If I see an order of $3MM on AAPL 1/21 $120C, I generally think they know what they're doing. I'm not a super smart person, but I'm smart enough to know there are a lot better people doing this than myself and if they're willing to plop down 7-figures on a single strike, I'll take a shot at it.

Hold those babies tight for now. Today is looking like a clear shakeout reversal candle. Sold half mine yesterday and holding out the other half for share price 43-45 or so.

It failed on breakout but if macro markets continue to move higher it will likely see $43

I am out on it hitting the target but wish I had been watching early on the selling. Would have probably bought them back,

Yep. I sold mine yesterday, flipped some today, and will buy some more on the next decent dip. Still is holding strong despite weakness.

Agree with IrishDeacon on QQQ. Needs 273+ for any talk of the bottom being in to start imo. Here's my chart I've been watching on it. If it gets rejected here again today/tomorrow, 250 next week is in play...

The only flaw in this logic is that they may be hedging against a much larger position in the underlying stock. That said, I've seen far worse justifications for opening a position.

My clear afternoon turned into just getting off the phone for 5+ hours straight so I missed my plans I had for it today. Sure glad I sold my half at just about the peak yesterday though!
