I was expecting this once primaries were over so he didn't lose any Congressmen in CC states. The pot industry is going to be a tough one to pick the winners and losers unless you have insight into ag needs, business model, and record of company leadership. A lot of them will fail even if the industry takes off.

totally agree. Without indepth supply chain and medical contracts already in place, I think we'll see a big rise and fall of a lot of small names.

I won't be shocked if Phillip Morris jumps in and succeeds though.

I wonder if A&M will add a degree plan for pot. I know when the turf science guys first started graduating the big golf courses grabbed them up and they got PAID.

I was hoping it would get up to 150-160 before the last fall. It hasn't even gotten to 140 again

I feel pretty confident it'll be at least 175 if not pushing 200 by elections.

Absolutely, made some money and I'm learning. win/win that could have been a bigger win, but that's alright by me for this stage.

correct...biggest risk is it closes expiration day inside the spread and you don't close out your long strike and get assigned. I may grab some of these though the premiums on these really cheap small spreads have been eating me up (1.3 to open and 1.3 to close)
edit: I couldn't find an expiration date where I could get these under about 40c. Are you looking at ask on the long call and bid on the short call? That's the differential that vertical call spreads cost

Bought AXGT last Friday 9/18 before the jump and was up close to 20% from my buy early this morning. Set a trailing stop loss early before heading out the door and got caught up in the flash. I guess I can't complain (too much) about a 10% quick gain but man I set hat thing too thin. Live and learn....

I figured it was cheap, why not jump into a few contracts.

I got filled on October 12.5/13 debit spread at net $0.04.

nice TD was acting up on me, it kept switching the call to put when I went to choose my strikes. Cheap way to load up...easy 10 baggers on those if they hit.

So GOCO's probably gonna sell hard at 15, right? Profit taking and/or cutting and running? Thinking as it approaches might be a good time to sell calls on at least some of my now way overweight position?

I wish I could say. Looks like to me there are just a bunch of folks gambling on mining stocks, with the idea that battery day will pay off for them. (I am one of those folks).
