Buying or selling? TDA and fidelity let you purchase stock immediately after deposit, but options are only with settled cash.
Someone may need to clarify, but I believe you incur a freeriding penalty if you sell a stock, and use that cash on the same day to buy and sell another stock. I.e you sell a stock you bought with unsettled money.

What do we say about major trend tops or bottoms? They always end with excessive tops or bottoms. That move on the markets yesterday was Exhibit A. Now it's wait and see if we found a consolidation support level to trade sideways or if it fails.

Always a good time to buy AAPL, so I bought small amounts to add to my large position. If it drops further, I'll smile and buy more.
It's the only one I've personally bought today, a bit shy about others, but tempted.
I'm very much a rookie so take with a grain of salt. I typically set stops for a drop of around 40-50% of whatever I buy in for. Set this one at 25%
