No idea. I'll defer to some of the older wiser folks here. I can only imagine. I seem to remember a bunch of news back then about the prez getting BJs in the oval office though.

For perspective on how silly it can get, NDX went from 350 to 4800 in under 6 years after it had already tripled the previous decade.

Yes, building an IH&S pattern now after the dip last week that was bought. Will take some time for right shoulder to form but should see highs prior to next earnings. This is a longterm hold for me, not just a swing trade.

So, is OSTK going to zero? I'm long a very small number of shares, so was willing to ride it out, but I'm thinking I need to take the loss and move on.

It has a gap at 61 so I'm waiting for at least that price before I think about going long.

I think there's a Fib level at 9.59, it'll be interesting to see what happens with it. We're already well above the 200 daily EMA

I've been waiting to get into OSTK too...think OSTK and Mara obviously down due to bitcoin crash this AM, but my question is why the drastic dip in bitcoin this AM?

anyone else use yahoo finance for looking at charts and it not displaying right now?

The technicals look like hot garbage so it doesn't take much to push them over the edge.

Insane. My short term calls were a nice green spot on the day. I bought some and will look to add more puts today. SDC seems to consolidate hard after big pushes.

I'm long sdc but from ten bucks.

I'm long SDC from 5ish. Burned by not selling more calls on previous runs like this...will I be burned again? Tune in to find out!

Been following a couple of folks for a while who have been pretty accurate with their calls. They are bullish long term (even 12+mos out). However, they do feel we have a 5% pullback or trade sideways for a while.

Some things they mentioned - most calls ever bought in one week, shorts went from 10% above average to 10% below average, market up but breadth very low, most complacency they have seen in a while.

Bottom line, they recommend either tighten up your loss prevention or wait to invest if you have cash. They are not nervous of a big fall or prolonged, but we are at some historical extremes on some things.

If, and this is a big if, SDC can decisively get past 9.59, I think it's got a clean shot for 10 today.

Ok...so, someone should probably check me here, but I'm seeing a gap on SDC between about 10.07 and 10.99. That would be an awful large move for this stock, but the volume's been pretty high this morning...
