That would make you very happy if you pick the fly body at those strikes.

If going by net gamma alone, AAPL should close anywhere between 500-510.

While I have a few low cost flys OTM, i have the bulk in ITM call spreads that top out at 500 so I'm good with this.

Been away all day... what caused UVXY to spike about 20% today? Stock market made it look like things were normal and lacked volatility.

Would that alone cause some downward pressure on AAPL above 500? Not that it necessarily means it will go down, but is that a force working against the buyers?

So those various points show the dealer held gamma: both puts and calls. The spikes show where dealers hold a lot of contracts.

Gamma hedging is how dealers keep themselves delta neutral for corresponding price moves and thereby not get blown up.

The plot I shared is pulled today which is a little misleading as AAPL is already at 500 and the closer an option is to the money, the more gamma it has. However the 500 strike had the highest net gamma even this past Monday.

It means we've been accumulating on the bottoming action spotted $34 and flash below. Once it rises above last resistance, which is $35.45, then it will be a confirmed bottomed trend reversal upward. In other words sit back and enjoy the ride after accumulating shares right at the bottom.
