march calls weren't much different in price than dec on the $5oldarmy1 said:
Never want to pump a stock but MBIO has all the early signs for a big pop move. Just DO NOT get caught flat-footed. Explore options and determine strategy. I have sells hidden above $4.50 and also a covered call strategy mapped out at that point using March $7.50 calls.
Baseline support intraday $3.29 before attention caught it. Not too concerned over any drifting. No where to go.
I'm pretty bullish, but this TSLA stuff makes zero sense to me.McInnis 03 said:

.2 for a september $5c?
Yes, please!
Doesn't the option become a non-standard? It doesn't split in the same way the stock does.TheCellarDoor said:
The good news is I've figured out what to do with my single Jan 22 1800c. When it becomes 5 options of 360c, I'll sell 2 of them and then let the rest ride! With the split and S&P inclusion likely soon as well as a promising battery day, this thing could remain stupid for a bit longer.
And don't underestimate Robin Hood's excitement about the potential for a $420/share stock again.
Of course, Elon could tweet and undermine the whole thing any minute. 14 more days!
I hate it if we get a spike after hours and are locked out of the options. You could leverage these September $5 calls by selling March $7.50 calls and your 20 cent call is $5.20 to call out with $7.50 + whatever premium it reaches. Heck, right now the March $7.50 calls have a bid at $0.75 for an $8.25 net. Only thing is to decide to call out shares or not by Sept expiration. Should have clear breakout or no by then, so meaningful. We get a spike to $5+ and those $7.50's premium out probably $2+.BREwmaster said:one massive Darvas Box! MBIONRD09 said:

What the hell happened to MARA?
Be ready.....could be a flash above $338 only or it could move hard to challenge days highs and set up another run at all-time highs. Your calls have moved up 18-26% depending on execution.oldarmy1 said:When you see above $338 buy the $337 Putsoldarmy1 said:

I'd definitely take profits on TSLA where I could. Maybe I'm just too old to understand the market on that stock.

I've got a TSLA 2200C that is way up, does it make sense to sell a 2300C or am I missing something in the analysis

I remember doing that when it hit $300 thinking the exact same thing...
what fills did you get on these? I got the calls for .85 and the puts for .99, but the calls dropped a dime. Is IV dropping or theta eating these up or did I just get bad fills?oldarmy1 said:Be ready.....could be a flash above $338 only or it could move hard to challenge days highs and set up another run at all-time highs.
