I figured it was a volatile stock as I see it move 10% weekly. I just wasn't sure if something was fundamentally damaged on the stock. The chart obviously looks ugly but I am always skeptical on the charts when the stock has only been around for a couple years. It just seems to have lower highs in a "long term" downtrend but I am not sure if that is the full story so I was curious.

Thanks to all that responded. I am long and just wanted to make sure that I wasn't fooling myself on the stock from a 3-5 year time horizon.

yep the ticks are pretty cool. I have alarms at 1000 and -1000. Don't let 1 or 2 -1000's (or +1000) get you to think the market is about to go that direction. Like today, there were a bunch of negative ticks around 2pm, and usually that means the market is heavy and will trend down. Welll you saw the last 5 mins or so....just kept pushing higher.

IVR is working out nicely for me. I bought way more than I meant to (fat fingers), but I've been selling covered and buying back when they hit $.05. So far I've realized 17% return and there's $.50 dividend coming. If my current shorts get called, I'm currently estimating at least 78% profit and the whole thing has been pretty passive.

Not as exciting, but more day job friendly than chasing V.

GPS had its earnings. Missed big. I expect a similar patter as MIK this morning with a low opening but with a nice gain on the day (assuming Spy stays above 310). Could be a chance for an am option bargain entry.

Had a (non-investing) friend just push me RWT - Redwood Trust which appears to be in real estate financing from a quick look. Outrageous Div yield due to the price drop. I'm scared off R/E for the time being like the other company y'all mention a lot (forgot the name).

Thoughts? Anyone familiar with them?
