Are we agreeing? The market does seem propped up. Low volume and retail buyers have sustained the minor rally, and the only bit of bad news showed the market react viciously.

I feel like the market will continue upwards until it's evident that reopening the country is not going to help the economy that much. 3000 feels much in the cards

Remdesivir positive news = overnight pop that sold off
Remdesivir bad news = mid-day sell off bought back up.

Alternatively, we could continue up indefinitely as all central banks pump more liquidity into the system in a few months than in all QEs before.

Pretty much agree with all of it. The other risk I would add that could buck the trend is if something pops up that significantly stunts the opening up process - like a flare up in a majority of the states expected to achieve Phase 1 in May (God forbid it).

Yeah agree, retail FOMO and all the different government programs will drive us up I think.

REALLY bad virus news will mess us up, and several bad ER from big boys would bring us down a bit.

Question about pre-market and AH transactions. Are those trades included in the opening trading period for VWAP? I guess it could depend of the service platform or it may just be insignificant volume.

ERI will be a good example on the truth of the VWAP. Since 4/24 the buyers started to dominate and the price jumped above the 10 day. I think it will be interesting to see when/if big volume hits. That will be my indicator to get out within 24 hours.

Fund flow data (latest data through 4/15) still shows outflows for US Equity mutual funds. They do show inflow for US Equity ETFs.

Are most saying due to light volume, it is likely retail?

I know mutual funds are largely considered retail, I guess ETFs are largely becoming retail also?

Earnings in a few days...I'm going to take a bit off here over $19 and then save the rest to see if it runs like LVS

SPY daily $286 call under $0.75 is a great risk/reward for today IMO. This early churning bodes well for recapturing $286.

Also DIS has move up during the down churning and actually rejected the selloff of $100.65. Watch for it to pop.
