What's the strategy for TRNX with the stock split? I have a small position that I was considering increasing before this pop, but now I'm not sure how to play it. Hold until the split? Buy more before the split? Wait for a drop after the split?

LOL, I've doubled since 13's. I'm in until 60+! Crazy how a little negative piece knocks it down 15% in a day.

RIG - Transocean is affected by the price of off-shore crude. WTI was up 4% today, but Brent Crude, which is what most of the Gulf is priced at, was actually down 0.5%.

I think you get it. I've noticed big days for OSTK are usually down days for the market, and vice versa (like today). Now if I just hadn't bought back in as soon as I did, could've got it cheaper today!

also all they need is some big news like a facebook deal or similar and it'll be back to 25+

It's very flat after hours so far, so I might wait and watch it in the morning if you have time -- just to make sure it's hit bottom. I do think it's about there though.

of course proceed at your own risk, I'm one of the least experienced on here, but well versed with OSTK. I definitely think it bounces up tomorrow. A lot of reasons to like the company (none of them involve retail).

I bought and sold early with shares at 20% profit and then played options the rest of the way. I did this because I don't care for their CEO. Blockchain that meets government regulation would be big. I'm in other stuff right now, but if it gets back under 20 with not broken fundamentals while everything on my shopping list is still overpriced, I'll buy a a couple hundred shares and look for another 15-20% return.

I don't disagree with you UpstateAg - after it bounces back higher, I may sell half and sit on some cash for a bit. I get too twitchy with the trigger sometimes.

Good point, you might get it... maybe a bunch of naked shorts. Earnings dip was to about 18, and it lasted all of 5 minutes, then ripped to the 20's.
