I've been short since $310 and am buying a call hedge (exact opposite than a long position when you buy Puts after nice profits in place).
But I'd also open a spread since its close to major support. Lose that and its curtains. Bounce and it will likely bounce fairly high.

And for you newer traders .stick with CX for education. Don't touch TSLA with a 10 foot pole. Premiums are huge on it into earnings.
MEGA Darvis Box on TSLA and guess what? If you were a buy and hold forever entry in January 2017 your up less than 1%. And with the stock trading near the low of the box you sure better hope the earnings is a beat....now we know Elon will talk it up positively on the post-earnings call so if negative and shares drops look for a short term reversal before its curtains.
I read up on their ER, read some analysts, and still don't get the massive drop. Have a tight SL on it, as it is much higher than the premium I normally will pay, but the potential of a rebound seems likely.

Lord knows it would be best for TSLA if he were moved into a big picture / design kind of role, allowing the company to get stabilized in their leadership team to move the company in the right direction.
