AMD last quarter dropped due to CEO mentioning the decline in GPU selling for bitcoin mining,
Same thing NVDA just performed, but a little late to the party for NVDA. NVDAs strategy from what I can tell is more long term, and hopeful on bitcoin mining having taken off more and for game developers to implement new graphic modes into video games more than they are currently performing.
For long term FY19/20, I think AMD is set to rise in market share due to cheaper and better GPUs & CPUs competing with NVDA/INTC.
