Yes, but he will also keep the premium for the puts he sold because they should expire worthless.

ETA: he also keeps the premium from selling the $150c that will net him a higher selling price.

I have ROKU sales on gap close $159. It hit $157.....bummer but early.

My time has been buying the heck outta PINS on some group that report came out about having sold out of all tech stocks IN THE 4th QUARTER (overreaction), including PINS. I waited and waited and grabbed $22.38-$23.62. The Model T is $22.89 witch just hit and I sold everything bought below $22.42.

I trade stocks only, not options. Thanks to this board I got into ROKU this time last year. I did miss some of the run up in the fall, but all in all ROKU has been very good to me. Once the dust settles sometime next week or so, I want to hear from some of the more knowledgeable ones here on how high ROKU might go.

ROKU's Anthony Woods said that by 2024, half of traditional TV viewers will have cut the cord or will have never had cable TV.

My basis in ROKU is 37 and it has grown to my largest holding. I see no reason to sell with four more years of the avalanche of cord cutters continuing and so many young people streaming and never even considering cable TV.

I feel very fortunate. I bought NVDA on Monday for $257.50. Going to cash out today given the extended weekend (I'm still a bit unsettled regarding the Corona virus) and then consider getting back in at some point in the near future.
