I think it happens and the markets are saying "so what?"gougler08 said:Yep...smart people know it won't happenIrishTxAggie said:The market isn't even flinching on impeachment. It doesn't care.gig em 02 said:oldarmy1 said:
Well my SPY put is gonna be worthless but pretty much anything mentioned as buying is going to bury it.
This is what you want when heavily long.
Until the Democrats announce an emergency impeachment vote at 9am. Hopefully they don't have anything planned to kill the momentum.
How can you be down to where you closed? $48.30 last trade.TheBiggerEvent said:

I didn't join in on the Put buying for BYND. Was waiting for a bounce off the long trend drop.UpstateAg said:
Except BYND. They can burn. Although they will probably have a green day today too...
You think the vote will happen or he'll be impeached? My thought is the reason the markets are shrugging it off as that everyone knows he won't actually get impeached, vote or notoldarmy1 said:I think it happens and the markets are saying "so what?"gougler08 said:Yep...smart people know it won't happenIrishTxAggie said:The market isn't even flinching on impeachment. Still like the 12/27 52.5c?oldarmy1 said:How can you be down to where you closed? $48.30 last trade.TheBiggerEvent said:

He likely will be impeached assuming that it is an up and down partisan vote. There are enough dems in coin toss districts that he might not. He will not be removed from office though. Need 2/3 of the Senate for thatgougler08 said:You think the vote will happen or he'll be impeached? Closed mine at open. Maybe I'll go with short calls or short call vertical instead now. Probably a better strategy on them because I don't see them going back up, but when and how much they will drop is a guessing game.UpstateAg said:

Yeah, but I didn't see this clearout flash down coming. I had some high covered calls on half the shares and they are dropped to where I'd be nuts not to take them off. And I have the legacy $46 put into earnings that were pretty much worthless until now.spud1910 said:Still like the 12/27 52.5c?oldarmy1 said:How can you be down to where you closed? $48.30 last trade.TheBiggerEvent said:

Hmmm... Something just happened on DIS
It's just consolidating from a $129-$152.50 rapid rise. I have mass buy at $145 if it makes it there, but once the consolidation ends it's going to move much higher IMO. What's going on is typical post spike malaise.docaggie said:
I have to wonder if it just that there's no DIS news, so people are moving out of it a little to jump on the rest of the fast moving market.
Yes...posted around same time for JNPR.YNWA_AG said:
