4140 was a prior support level turned resistance. I thought it was a natural place for us to go to and meet some sellers, which we did.

I think selling will happen very soon. I am surprised we did not see it today, but I knew we wouldn't after we couldn't get through the opening price.

Looks to me like 3750 is a good target to rebuy if it drops.


Pretty clear inverted HS pattern developing. Plus the RSI is showing overbought. I pulled 3/4 of my UPRO shares into cash today.

Tough three days for my leveraged plays specifically, but hell of a close to the month for my overall portfolio. This has been my best month by far dollar wise (not percentage wise), and now I'm just $10k below my highest NW which was back in December. (Had gotten as bad as -$50k.)

Thanks for this post. I don't Twitter and don't know how. I did click on the Twitter post and read some of the replies below it...then if you continue scrolling down there are other twitter posts/comments...wow, everyone is all over the place...lows are in,....hitting the highs for the year,...next 4 months for a rally. They are definitely uncertain.

It could just be precautionary due to Pelosi's trip to Asia. Some Chinese officials have been saying some dangerous ****, like shooting her plane down. If that happens, the market would definitely crater. If it doesn't then they could just close them out. JMO

I saw that headline on the Drudge. That is some wild stuff to say re: one of the leaders of the US Congress. I almost couldn't believe that. Markets shrugged it off today tho.

I can't even recall the last sitting US politican (at legislative or executive level) that died as a result of an assassination. Reagan was shot and survived as did Jim Brady (I worked for several years with a neurosurgeon whom I believe operated him widen he was a resident; Art Cobrine was the staff surgeon, I believe). Steve Scalise was also shot but survived and made a full recovery. It would definitely be an act of war if it happened by another country!

Maybe Kennedy?

Yeah, agree. It got really bad especially during 2020. It's not as bad now, but it's a shadow of its former self. What news outlet do u like? Walter Bloomberg on TWTR is probably what I see the most now lol.

I'm not sure there are any mainstream ones that are not full of ***** excuse my language. Ukraine / Russia is a prime example, I've heard real stories that are far different than what the media is portraying. Consider too, Ukraine is the # 1 donor to the DNC ($ to the DNC).

Looking back on my trading. I trade "chop" days much better than I do trend days. I guess it's because I try to use resistance and support and like trading reversals better than breakouts.

It's something I have to improve on.

Everyone having a good weekend? Sometimes things come together that we don't expect. Our leases were coming up and it wasn't looking promising for us to do anything except buy the current cars we have been leasing. For reasons I won't get into here or now, God blessed me with a new truck this weekend…..something I've been waiting on since 2015.

Finding a new car is hard enough these days but the exact one you want is pretty rare!! The finance guy at the dealership mentioned that a large number of the dealerships in the valley have less than 10 cars, most having 5 or 6. That's a shock, and none of the places I've been see that changing for a couple more years!
