It's hard for any stock to swim upstream against negative market sentiment during a correction. You should expect a slow bleed on the markets until we could a big capitulation dump.

Has anyone been playing straddles overnight on SPY succesfully the last couple weeks by chance?

Seems like these gap down and gap up moves have been significant enough to be profitable.

Sorry! I didn't catch the BSG reference.

ABBV was one of my first purchases earlier this year when I first started this. Inthink it's a great company. I got in at $106 or so. And I sold it last week or two for $107 or $108.

My cousin works for them and she says the company believes the stock will go to $125, but it hit $122 and had a free fall last month.

I'm trying to find a good stock to go long on right now, but not finding many. If this market pukes (as if it already hasn't lol), I expect it will fall back.

They do lose exclusivity rights on Humira in a little over a year or so, but they always have a good stable of drugs.

If it's a "never-sell and add the dip" sort of play for you, it's trading what it was at in March, more or less. Good support around $106 or so.

For the record, I sold mine about 2 weeks after I sold AAPL (sold it at $153.60).

Think I'll hang on and wait for a swing back. Big pharmas all get slumps
