They had a tracking system setup for efficient logistics to cut spoilage dramatically. Tracking product so those closer to spoilage made it on the shelf faster than product that could wait.
Had a contract with WalMart - Wal mart backed out after a few years and suddenly had developed their own tracking.
There is a lot more involved but that's a basic rundown.
Settlement or buyout is the key on this stock.

Company writes software to track produce from farm to shelf and optimize freshess, minimize waste, etc, walmart licenses software, signs nda, uses it for a couple years, claims it is saving them 2B/yr in spoiled produce. Then Walmart cancels contract and all of a sudden rolls out a strikingly similar system that they say they designed in house based on an idea that came up in a company wide hackathon. Ecoark/zest files suit, new ceo gets canned, judge (in arkansas) examines evidence and fails to throw out any of the 9 allegations (fraud, ip theft, etc) trial date set then covid halted everything. Now here we are. That's what I've gathered

Agree. I certainly don't know the finer details of the case but it seems like this is a slam dunk case in favor of Ecoark and I can see why they would hold out, if that's what they've done.

Only dropped $0.74 on the day with not much volume. All it takes is someone selling a couple thousand shares. I'm a ZEST holder and riding it out.

Keep an eye on SWBI. $16 I'm hopping back in. If it falls back down to $15 I'm loading up more. Sell CC at $19.

$COST is about the only thing I took action on back when 30K was taking requests. Had a hard reversal that paid off.

Ditto, still learning and when multiple people with more experience than me say "sit on hands" time, that's pretty much what I am doing. I have bought back (and sold) some covered calls, but that's mostly it here lately.
