She told the company she was leaving on Monday. They should have announced it before the stock opened in the morning on Tuesday.

She leaving to become the CEO of Nextdoor. According to the 8k filing it has nothing to do with a problem with the company or related to anything concerning accounting. The firms that upgraded this to 115 target last week might come out with reaffirmation tomorrow and it could spike higher if market bounces after opening up lower.oldarmy1 said:

F has been getting hammer more than usual this week., down to 8.79 AF.

Will be interesting to see where momentum takes it past the gap fill. I'll be on a plane but have set orders across an array of stocks for volume flash low. MU $39.75, SQ $65, FB $142, etc.
If selloff is ending we'll see a lot of flash free fall and snap back on mass volume.
Oh, and when I had said I was buying VIX $13 calls when we were in $11.40 area if you followed I sold all but 10% earlier. VIX hit well over $24 for a massive win.

Completely agree. Wouldn't surprise me if the markets finish the day in the green after morning purge.

Trying to assess the political impact on markets. Lot of hysterics and mob anger. Of we see actioning on the calls by the left then obviously the markets won't settle.
It's a huge wild card right now. I have always dismissed the tantrums but it feels different this time. We'll see.
You won't see conservative retaliation before the election but it will motivate us to the polls. The violence occurs after the election when no Blue wave comes to be. If the R's keep both houses and/or increase majorities, the left will absolutely implode and step up with more violence. That could be the catalyst for the right to strike back violently, hard. JMO

Agree, I'm getting out of all puts this morning with the purge and then will look for some quick calls on certain stocks

Gaps filled
correction percentages hit
earnings begin next week in earnst
interest rates heading higher no longer new impact
China tariffs have been quiet and also old news
polls narrowing like they always do showing no blue wave
I would have rather opened lower and then close higher. Now the reverse could happen.

I'm waiting for another drop today. It is hard to see a few of these mentioned go much lower though. ROKU and SQ are intriguing. As is BABA and JD.
ETA: Of course, it looks like a rally when I post. Still have my order price's set. If it happens, it happens. I've got to go deal with this stupid tropical storm dumping 4 inches this morning and a french drain that needs some assistance.
