I'm also in ZEST as a lotto, and I went net free today. I hope it goes to $20, but it could easily go to $0, and I got burned on exactly this scenario over 10 years ago on here.

For those who remember, forgive me for bringing up old wounds... GNVC. A poster on here recommended GNVC as a sure thing medical stock that was about to get FDA approval for whatever the heck it was. We would get periodic positive pumps on how well they heard (on the internet) the Phase 3 trial was going and how "any day now" approval was coming from the FDA. At one point I was up 3x until I woke up one morning to see the stock down 80% or so pre-market after news hit that they were cancelling the Phase 3 trial because it was a complete failure. They got bought out at pennies on the dollar and my 3x turned into a complete capital loss.

No idea if ZEST is that, and I still have net-free money in it in case the rumors are true. But internet rumors about something like this will almost always be positive (confirmation bias). This run-up could be from leaked intel on the settlement, or it could be nothing more than big money pumping and trying to FOMO people into buying before dumping.

Just like Vegas, only gamble what you want to lose. Now let's hope the dice are hot!!

I fell for the same thing. I was new to trading at the time and thought "Surely, Aggies know a good thing to invest in". Lost my ass.
