So everyone knows why we sold 100% of Puts. I spotted larger volume buying by order size and other things I look at. You also have to have big continuation downward or else the time decay on a Put expiring tomorrow kills you. If we drift between $276-$280 the $281 Puts will just meltaway premium.

Psst..you can't time the markets.

Sold at the top (so far today)! But I guess I shouldn't have sold my June $260 puts?
Hopefully they get cheaper and I will rebuy.

QQQ trying to put in a double bottom above 216. If that and SPY bottom from this morning hold, it looks like we could easily 50% retrace (Model T) bounce back to test QQQ 222 and SPY 285. Both really big numbers that were previous key levels of support / resistance. If we got that bounce in the couple of days, I'd be selling longs and buying puts.

Sold RUBI 7.5P's (cash secured) for 6/19 at 2.74 premium. If I get put my average cost is $4.76.

I'm doing this in a ROTH IRA, so I take profits on some of my long positions to obtain the cash, that cash gets locked away as margin required security. I take the premium and do as I wish and will monitor the puts and manage as necessary (roll, buy back, let expire, etc).

ive got Spy 278 puts for 5/15. I am still holding but just not sure what to do...take and run or hold for the reversal

BTW, I post because I'm still learning methods. If this strategy sucks for something I think is going to move upwards over time, please tell me.

Right when I posted it. That was the cup formed so bears will try to stop the train. If its a real bottom bulls let the bears retrace and then obliterate them.

Question for the group. Up until this point Ive tried to keep my "round trips" below 4 to prevent being flagged as a pattern day trader. Is there any reason I should be leery of that, other than the needing to keep $25k in the account?

Cost myself a couple bucks trying to hedge puts against my June calls that were bleeding... came out about even given the call gains and put losses. Oh well, lessons learned I guess

Do you see any other resistance from here up to that level? A lot of the technical analysis I watch thinks this retests the neckline of a head and shoulders. Do you see any of that?
