I think Chord is the natural buyer or someone in the pubco space needs to step up and be the consolidator as I imagine Chevron does something with Hess up there and XOM has had that asset on market (not sure what ever happened with that process)

Grayson Mill has been silently marketing this asset for years at this point. They've reached out to most of the major Williston operators, including chord, and there is one common theme. Grayson Mills acreage is mostly C- tier.
Not to say it won't get done because public operators, like Chord, need to be continue to "grow". That said, most of the opportunities added by acquiring Grayson Mills won't be drilled within the next 10 years by someone like Chord, as they have much higher ROR opportunities in their portfolio. Which means there is very little value that can be paid on the majority of upside (due to discounting).
What was the point of blowing up Nordstream if you're just going to turn around and stifle LNG exports? Do we hate Europe that much? It's almost like we don't have a unified geopolitical strategy and the country is being run by whoever says the last thing that Biden hears.

ET doesn't need to buy the pipelines from SUN because ET owns SUN. ET and SUN are the same company.
