It should not, when oil is removed it is just replaced with brine, the caverns may leach a bit more but should be structurally sound

This. Excessive cycling isn't great. But inventory levels don't affect integrity or stability.

Off topic but figured this was a good place to ask this…my company (private equity backed midstream company) is trying to decide what to do for customer Christmas gifts. In the past we have done Garrison Brothers, TX whiskey, we did some nice bottles of wine one year (probably alcohol every single year of our existence if I had to guess). We'd be fine sticking with alcohol but it's a pain to ship to people we can't hand deliver it to. Looking for ideas (alcohol or otherwise). So what's your favorite Christmas gifts you've gotten from vendors? Price point needs to be around $100 or less, but if you have an idea that's a little higher feel free to throw it out there.

Not sure if they would make you a volume deal to get closer to your price point but a company I work with every year sends us these.

Go talk to Scott or Chris at Herbert's at their commissary on Dairy Ashford and pick different things to ship. The first year you could ship a couple things to each customer and follow up on what they liked the best. Then adjust the following years accordingly. Shipping isn't so bad if you're sending a cooler full to each place.

SLB used to give us a gift wrapping box for Christmas. It had everything you needed for a Christmas gifts: bows, several nice rolls, tape, etc. It was the only company gift my wife would look forward to. If you do this, send me one.

I do not think that is an accurate statement of the drivers why oil and gas equities are trailing.

Depends on the sector and who participates in it. Across the board there's still demand concerns (which I don't agree with). But healthy companies will be content to print cash, buy back stock and pay dividends. And many ESG investors will complain in public while licking their chops behind closed doors.

I think y'all did Treaty Oak last year? If so, I have several bottles of Garrison and a Treaty Oak from your company.

Perini Ranch tenderloins are always a hit at my house. Racine Danish Kringles are another good one. I get a couple of Greenberg Turkeys each year, but most of the Turkeys sit in the freezer for a year until we throw them out to make room for the new ones.

A good company gift I recieved last year was a nice set of scissors, but I like useful gifts.

I don't know how much of a pain (or lack of) it is, but I've had a vendor that couldn't get to see me in person use Drizly to order and send a bottle of scotch directly to my house. I can't attest to the hassle level, but might be worth looking at if you want to send alcohol and let the shipping be someone else's hassle

We can make a volume deal to get you to the price point. We ship a bunch of corporate gifts during the holidays. Aggie owned and operated.

Great thought, but if it has the vendor name on it then it wouldn't survive in my house. Too many of those already without vendor labels. Maybe not all houses are like mine though

I didn't put a vendor name on it… just the clients last name. Much more personalized and classy

I'm just glad it's still alive, not many epic TexAgs threads still active these days. Stock markets thread looks like it is on life support and The Ticket thread on the DFW board may be as well soon the way things are going. Sure I am missing some others though.

This thread is a gold mine. Imagine if something like this existed in the 80s or earlier, how interesting it would be to look back and read through it.

It is interesting to go back and read the first pages of this thread and see the postering and predictions that were wrong (but a few were amazingly on-point).

This is how it needs to be, I know companies like to have logos and it makes it easier to justify both giving and receiving but the number of cutting boards, bottles etc with obnoxious logos on them that get trashed is really annoying

I'm just glad I got in on the 1st page.

But I've moved 2 jobs in 2 different fields since this was started.
