Sounds like a rumor going around. Someone said the platform lost power only, but I guess we'll know in a couple hours.

Noble Corp. has reported its Noble Globetrotter II drillship is safe after undergoing "hurricane-force conditions".
The company has accounted for all personnel following the hurricane.
The company will carry out an assessment of conditions once the weather has cleared, it said.
Noble has not disclosed why the drillship remained in the path of Hurricane Ida. There have been some reports that it was unable to disconnect its riser in time to move.
There has been rumor of damage to the low marine riser package (LMRP) and loss of lifeboats. Noble has not yet responded to a request for [it's other drillships.]

I'd like to get some ideas on naming my new drills.
We plan on drilling a few wells so a simple Howdy #1 won't work. Im not naming them after the surface owners or after my kids. Give me something that we can keep doing.
For example: XTO did college mascots. I've heard of others doing movies or animals, etc.
What say you?

That was the point. I originally planned on doing this two weeks ago then thought, "Texags doesnt need to be pulling us up in Drilling Info."Sea Speed said:
