I'll reserve further comments at third coast said this isn't the person that decided to turn the Evergreen into a land bridge. In general, companies PR strategies get thrown out the window when they start losing on tens of millions of dollars. People get quietly replaced at a later date.AgLA06 said:

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, I am not sure who the woman posted is. The one I referenced on LinkedIn is not the woman posted. The one in the pic could very well be an officer on the ship in question.

It would seem logical to try and shed weight, but a couple years back I quoted a new crane to the Panama Canal with a lot higher reach than what they had. It was for a contingency plan for something just like this. A lot of these newer vessels stack the containers so high that you can't easily reach the top.

If they say ship instead of tanker, it doesn't lob veiled implications at the petroleum industry. What's the filing in reporting news without doing that.

Ita a container ship. Only ships called 'carriers' are RO ROs, often called car carriers. Or aircraft carriers i reckon. Good joke though.

Technically speaking, its not much of a ship right now either. More of a warehouse in the desert!
All the way to the bottom.AustinAg008 said:
Any ideas to the draft on a ship like this?
