This can't be overstated. Municipalities and states are going full bore towards 100% renewables, which is not possible with green-washing. Once you green wash, it's a zero sum game. If you "buy" a renewable credit on a balance sheet, that's less renewable energy in the real world evailalbe for someone else.FarmerJohn said:
It turns out that having no idea how things work doesn't disqualify someone from office in the public's eye. And after the Trump Presidency, I think you have to entertain the idea that whatever crazy thing someone says, they might in fact be serious. That's for better or worse.

And it said the layoffs will be completed by end of 2022. Why stress your employees out for 2 years? So strange.
Everyone knows holding layoffs over employees heads is an excellent way to boost production.

Any bad news for Trump is going to hit oil and, to a lesser extent, gas very hard. So as not to be too political, I'll leave it there.
Looks like it might get worse soon. Companies that are heavy liquids have a very long road ahead of them, hopefully some can make it through.AustinAg008 said:

ConocoPhillips is in talks to acquire rival Concho Resources Inc., according to people familiar with the matter, as the largest independent energy producer looks to make a bold bet on U.S. shale during an historic industry downturn.
The companies could announce a deal in the next few weeks, said the people, who asked to not be identified because the matter isn't public. No final decision has been made and talks could fall through.
