Been holding off on buying. I just got out of O&G so I'm interested in investing now that my paycheck isn't tied to it...

ultra long term (if needed, 20-30 yeas if required).... xom, cvx, pdx, eog, and rose are what I'm currently considering....

What do you guys think our rock-bottom rig count will get to? 400-600?

Yes, but they were depleted years ago. Look at the Yates field.

Yes. All the "easy oil" has been found and produced. It's now Shale oil or deep water GOM or Alaska.

ROSE has a sweet inventory in the Delware Basin. Wolfbone/Camp combo was going fantastic up until the crash. Still waiting on a royalty check from them on 90,000 BOPD of flush production that will include some more favorable prices. Pretty excited to get that. Should take some of sting out of this downturn.

I've maintained for months that I'll be buying a WTI ETF if it gets down to 40 (or close to it) and hopefully ride that baby back up to 60-70 by 2016.

Anybody have any recommendations for which one(s) I should look at buying?
