Get a snowboard so you can perpetually be in everyone's wayTouchless said:
Disregard what txag11 said. Just get a snowboard. Those boots are significantly more comfortable. Plus then you'd be a cool boarder instead of a lame duck skier. You'll thank me later.
Congrats. Just moved from the springs in August and miss it every day, especially now that ski season is on the horizon. I have a house in meridian ranch in falcon on the NE side that I'm renting out right now. I'm planning on moving back in about 3 years. It really depends on where you're working. One of the most surprising things about the springs that I discovered after moving there is just how spread out the town is. It can take you damn near an hour to get from one side of town to the other.efog said:
Howdy y'all. My fiance and I are moving up to Colorado Springs the start of the year. We're trying to figure out if we should buy/rent, but more importantly trying to get a feel for the different areas. What areas should we avoid and what areas should we look at?
Can't wait to make the move and be up there!

I moved as soon as I landed a remote gig. Out of Houston in less than 30days including the house sale.
We just hit our one year mark. Fastest year of my life. What a blast.

Any O&G/IT recruiters here? Looking to move to Denver this summer and would like to start my search early. Dec. 2012 grad with 4 years of experience in geophysical data management and 2 years in IT support.
Any contacts or leads are much appreciated. Thank you.

My wife and I are looking to move into the Colorado Springs area. It seems impossible to find a job while living in Texas and it's sketch to move up with our savings and just hope to find something. Would anyone have advice on what I should do? I would honestly take a 10 dollar an hour job right now just to get up there.
Is there such a thing as decent crawfish? It's one of the few things that I don't like... too much work for something that does not taste very good. The Lost said:dreyOO said:
