Howdy Denver Ags, my wife has started the job search for the Denver area and wanted to see if any of you may know of any companies looking in her area. She's looking for account manager positions and currently is in digital marketing.

Any help you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

I know that Arrow Electronics is expanding very, very rapidly after moving their HQ to Colorado in the last couple of years. Last time I looked, they had over 150 open positions. I'm sure some of those would be account manager/marketing type roles.

I don't have any leads into the company, but I've worked with them as a client in the past and they were always good folks.

Just got a new bar for this year called Icehouse Tavern downtown. Should be much better than the last bar. The old one was terrible for watching football.

First watch party is always great. Can almost feel the hope of the season. Hopefully it's like last year's opener (vs. South Carolina). Kickoff is 5 pm local time, so get there early to join the revelry.

I may be up at the new watch location. Still debating flying down for the game or going to the San Juans though hah.

Sorry, I probably should have been a little more specific originally. I'm starting to look for a new job and prefer it to be in real estate. I'm looking for something that may have to do with acquisitions, due diligence, development, etc. Currently in Internal Audit, but looking to make the transition out of the audit world.

Saw some folks their I hadn't seen in 10 years.

Yeah, much better location. Main issues in my opinion were the tv's being pretty small. There were a fair amount of them, but you really need to sit pretty close to have any sort of good view. Also, they seemed short staffed. They were running around everywhere. However, if I ordered a beer, they basically went and poured it themselves and had it to me in like 1 minute or less so that was great. The food seemed to be forgotten about once the order was placed. A few in our group had to ask them to check on it as it was over 30 minutes and they would bring it out right away though.

Wife and i and another couple just stayed close to the bar.

I will probably get there an hour earlier next time for food. Good however was good when we did finally get it.

Excited to check out the new location this weekend.

I went back the next day because it's also the Purdue bar (my wife's a boilermaker) and all of the staff had nothing but good things to say about us.
