Any advice on these locations?-Tentatively planned in Mid-September.
Current plan is to spend around 3 nights in each city, along with 1 day in Bratislava and 2 days in Hallstatt.

Just started planning and would appreciate any advice! Especially food recommendations and any off the beaten path experiences.

Cafe Imperial in Prague. My wife and I were there back in November and had one of the best meals ever. Your money goes a long way in Prague. We spend $100 on a four course meal that would have easily been three times that much here. You'll love Prague. Vienna is awesome too. Bratislava is okay but I would probably not spend more than a day there.

Take good walking shoes for Prague. It's fairly compact, but there's a lot to see. There's a park on a hill south of Prague Castle that has great views of the cityand an observation tower you can go up in, if you want even better views.

I'll make sure to add that to the list!

That checks out from what I've seen in Bratislava. We are planning on just doing a day trip from Vienna.

Agree with this. A day trip to Hallstatt is awesome though.

Definitely look like a worthwhile visit to Cesky Krumlov.

Any insight on recommending visiting there over Bratislava?

Watching this one. We're going to Budapest-Vienna-Prague mid summer. Timing is driven by relatives.

in Vienna: schonbrunn zoo and schonbrunn castle & grounds are beautiful. the belvedere is also beautiful. the U bahn, S bahn, and bus system make getting around very easy. make a reservation for cafe central (or another one of the renowned cafes) now, it is not fun waiting in line! awesome views climbing to top of st stephans

in Prague: we really enjoyed a beer spa. as others have said, the park south of Prague castle and st vitus cathedral has beautiful views of the city. a lot of walking.
