We used lil99chris for the first time on our trip to Disney World a few weeks ago in December the week before Christmas. I am fairly good about booking trips/itineraries but did not want to mess up the details on this one. We had 8 people total in our party: 6 adults (2 on scooters) and 2 children (1 double stroller) with 3 separate rooms at the Contemporary and we had a fantastic time!
Chris did an amazing job booking everything including the resort/park packages (including linking the other rooms/reservations to my account), Mickey's Christmas Party tickets, airport transportation transfers, scooters and restaurants reservations. He was very responsive in all of our communications throughout the planning process and made it stress free. I would highly recommend using him.
I will also mention to spend some time to educate yourself on how to use the Genie+ app/process before your trip. Even though it was crowded the week we were there, knowing how to navigate and pivot your plans throughout the day really makes for a smooth experience compared to what you read out there with other people's reviews. If I can make a good experience with the group I was managing, then you can too!

you scheduled this a couple weeks ago? wow, that's pretty impressive! did you have any issues with getting into any of the parks? i thought they would be full months ago.

Some friends invited us to meet them at WDW in late Feb/early March so we'll be there about 1 month before it opens. We have a VIP tour lined up. I'm 99.999% sure it won't matter but maybe the VIP guide can manage to get us on an early pre-public run of Tron.

Been to Disney several times during Spring Break for Texas students. This is the first year we've gone when Florida students have also been on the same week of Spring Break.
Good lord the parks have been PACKED the last couple of days.
Tried Genie+ / Lightning Lanes one day, and then went without it another day. Night and day experience. Waiting in 90+ minute lines for a four minute ride was a bad choice.

I just got back today after a week at DisneyWorld. Crowds definitely felt lighter. I was expecting longer lines for July 4th week. I imagine the rising costs at home and travel are affecting travel plans.
With that said, there are some solid promotions available where families can save some money. Tron Lightcycle and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are great rides. Disney has also made some modifications to Genie+ that align with the park you are visiting.

We did Hollywood Studios on 7/1, Magic Kingdom 7/2 and Universal Island of Adventure 7/3
The 2 disney parks weren't bad but Universal was packed (relatively)
Tron was great but so was Velocicoaster and Hagrids (motorcycle)

Hagrid's motorbike is my favorite ride in all Disney/Universal - fun, thrilling and well-themed. Guardians is a blast too.

Anyone done the kids build your own lightsaber thing? Is it good? Is the lightsaber cool? Is it a pain in the ass to carry it around the rest of the day?
There is a bag/sheath you can purchase. You will see quite a few people carrying around Hollywood Studios.
The real ones (Metal)are pretty pricy. I think you need to be a super Star Wars fan to justify the cost. We let our kids build one out of plastic parts which is substantially cheaper. They enjoyed it and played with them enough to justify the cost point.Milwaukees Best Light said:

We opted to build droids instead of the light sabers.
But my kids are younger.

Mine will be just under 6 when we go. You think droids or lightsabers? He is pretty smart, but can't focus for very long, as a 5 year old should be.

The droid is a remote control toy. My kids still play with them more than a year later.
And you can get two droid building experiences for the price of the saber.
