JH must do lines:
- Alta One
- Mile Long to Endless
- Any of the Airforce Chutes
- Zero G Couloir
- Once is enough (don't fall)

Try and hook up with one of the locals. A rack of blue ribis should do the job. Remember to bring your beacon and a big sack because the best lines at Jackson aren't in Jackson.

Card I haven't. I would like to at some point but just haven't made it out there.

My girlfriend and I skied Silverton last year. If I could only go 1 time this year it would be to Silverton.

If you are a rookie, Keystone, best green terrain anywhere plus top of mountain never ever training. Blues+ in Summit county, Breck.

I personally recommend Steamboat for Colorado Blue+ skiing, but I'm admittedly biased as I live hear and am renting my townhome out this season for the first time.

I learned to ski at Deer Valley. A resort with high level of service. Expensive. Wolf Creek would be great too. Great amount of snow. Old school little in the way of accomodations or service.

It looks like we are heading to Crested Butte this March for spring break. How is the snow during March? Are most runs still open?

you will be fine in march. plenty of snow, but there may be some icing depending on the temperature.

keep in mind that they will groom the greens slopes too.

Can be bad advice. I have see many ski resorts with little to no snow in march. Namely DV in march of last year had almost 40% of their mtn closed despite having the best snow blowing system in the world.

my apologies. the only place i had ever had bad snow in march was angelfire. i figured CB would be fine since they are so far in the mountains.

Well, we have a free place. So we are going regardless of the snow fall. We'll just hope for the best.

Even if the skiing isn't great I know the CB/Gunnison area is awesome.

Having been in CO for 10 years, I know my sample size is relatively small but last Spring was definitely the anomaly for the Rockies. Every other year we have had some incredible skiing in March and even April. Is good snow a guarantee? No, but that's the same deal anywhere.

I've done,
Keyston
Breck
Vail
Crested butte
Park city
Deer valley
Alta
Snowmass
Snowbird (smashed my face up pretty good)
Brighton
Jackson hole

I haven't been to breck or keystone in a few years so won't comment on them.

For the money I'd stay in salt lake then take the bus out to different ones. For ski in ski out relaxing trip Jackson hole was awesome. (Except for drinking too much beer in the sauna bad idea)

Take lessons for the first 2-3 days!!!!!!!
