The lineup would be salty....not sure we'd have the arms though. It would still be Oswalt & then pray for 4 days of rain (unless Millwood becomes decent again)

SS - Young
2b - Loretta/Kinsler
DH - Berkman
LF - Lee
1B - Tex
CF - Pence
RF - Sosa
3B - Blalock/Lamb/Loretta
C - Laird

The Rangers pitching staff couldn't contribute much unfortunately.

Rangers pen could provide a few arms. Not much in the starting rotation, though. Tejada and McCarthy have some good flashes now and then, though.

If (and that's a big if) everyone was 100% healthy, the rotation would probably be

1 - Oswalt
2/3 - Jennings
2/3 - Millwood
4 - Padilla
5 - Williams

Pen -
Lidge
Wheeler
Qualls
Gagne
McCarthy
Otsuka

Just a guess...they'd be deep...but not REAL good.

That's not a bad lineup, and I'm thinking that Sampson is a better call than, at least, Woody at this point.

However, I would probably flip Berkman and Tex because Berkman is a REALLY good defensive 1st baseman. Admittedly though, I must confess that I haven't watched enough of the Rangers to know how good Tex is with the glove.

Sampson and Wandy have pitched extremely well this year. Much better than Woody.

Tex has won two gold gloves so far. I would say he is the best in Baseball that nobody knows about. When the Yankees sign him he will become the best in history.

Have to agree with that. I absolutely love watching Tex play first.
